A Strategy for Catalyzing Campus-Wide Attention to the Future of Learning Spaces
2017 Past Presentation
Presentation by Jeanne Narum, Principal, LEARNING SPACES COLLABORATORY. Increasingly, academics and architects are attuned to the growing research demonstrating the link between attention to the physical learning landscape and achieving sustainable undergraduate learning experiences. This changing context requires a future-focused approach to planning learning spaces, embracing research on how learning happens and what constitutes as a learning space. Drawing on years of research and stories from the frontlines, this forum is designed as an opportunity to share the roundtable experience – questions examined, explored, and lessons learned in planning the future of learning spaces – formal and informal, and to all disciplines.
